Go Taupe
Life is a rollercoaster with its ups and downs,
Never knowing what’s coming to make you smile or frown.
From yellow laughter to black sadness,
You go from happily ever after to red madness.
You despise irritation and celebrate elation,
And attach to good times with a burning fixation.
Nothing lasts forever so it’s best to go taupe.
That’s the neutral space where peace is evoked.
Not black, not red, not yellow or blue.
Taupe is the constant inside of you.
Taupe is peace. Taupe is home. Taupe keeps you calm.
Like resting your head on a loving Mom.
Taupe never takes sides and never does harm.
It never gives reason for any alarm.
So when you want to go from erratic to peace,
Go to taupe to put your mind at ease.
You don’t have to be fiery or flashy or loud.
Just breathe into the present and be love in the now.
Cast a blanket of taupe over the highs and lows,
And the rollercoaster will settle into a perfect flow.
Taupe is peace. Taupe is home. Taupe keeps you calm.
Like resting your head on a loving Mom.
Taupe never takes sides and never does harm.
It never gives reason for any alarm.
